Yes, it is a terrible curse being raised by a photographer. Not only are you forced to imagine what your parent looks like without that silly contraption in front of their face, but you are also subjected to constant documentation of your life through pictures. Somehow the boundaries become blurred when your parent is the master of the camera.They capture “everything”; especially those moments you wish would fly by unnoticed. Worst of all, those embarrassing moments find the light of day and are shared with the masses. It used to be you only had to worry about those embarrassing photos being possibly being shared with your future spouse or even at your high school graduation. Well now thanks to the internet and social media nothing is private anymore. It is a curse I tell you! Can someone save me please?!

Someday I will get my mother back for this many times over.

First, I would like to apologize for my lack of blogging as of late. Recently, I have had a few families whom are not comfortable with me sharing their images. So out of respect for their wishes I have refrained from posting images from their session. I think it is important for my clients to understand they have a choice and that me sharing their images on the blog is a courtesy and not a requirement. My client’s happiness is one of my foremost desires so please do not hesitate to let me know if you do not want your images on my blog .

Now for the eye candy. There is not much I can say about about this “Cutie Pootie” except he is Mr. Personality and a joy to photograph. I can’t help but smile looking at his images because his smile is contagious!

Sadly, I am extremely behind on my blog posts. I hope to catch up some time in the future, but alas I say that about many things these days as I am in the midst of my busy season. Let’s just say that eventually, I will get “semi” caught up.

Several weeks ago I had the honor of photographing these beautiful sisters. I think the pictures speak for themselves. Thanks Shelby for allowing me to photograph your beautiful daughters!
